Does it handle one Simplified character with several Traditional forms?
Yes. It uses the open-source OpenCC dictionaries and converts by phrase first, so 头发 becomes 頭髮 while 发展 becomes 發展, and 皇后 and 后面 are told apart too.
What's the difference between Taiwan and Hong Kong Traditional?
Some characters are written differently (Taiwan 裡, 著, 說; Hong Kong 裏, 着, 説), and everyday vocabulary differs too: Taiwan says 軟體 and 滑鼠 where the mainland says 软件 and 鼠标. Tick “Also convert regional vocabulary” to use the local words.
Is the result always correct?
Most text can be used as is, but names, places and technical terms are occasionally converted wrongly. Proofread before publishing.
