Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit; it depends on your device's memory. On phones we suggest keeping the total under 200 MB.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Files that only restrict editing or copying (they open without a password) work as is. Files that need a password to open must have it removed first.
